DAD is based on Microsoft SQL Server and the .NET Framework.
The ultimate size of the model is unlimited. However there are practical considerations on the size of the data tables so we advise you to keep the size to less than 500,000 components. (To give you an idea how big - we have a world scale refinery model with only 200,000 components.)
Software requirements:
- Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or Vista operating systems
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 or later*
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express edition (if less than 3 users)*
- Adobe Acrobat Reader v4 or later*
